A ticket sales platform using blockchain technology to combat resale exploitation
For Membran Canada I have worked to develop a ticket sales application that uses an Ethereum network as a database. With the
use of the Ethereum protocol, Treblekey is able to mitigate enterprise level ticket touting while maintaining
a conventional distribution model.
This project has demanded a high pace of learning from me as I introduced myself to the Ethereum ecosystem.
The infancy of the technology has taught me to make forward thinking design decisions to account for
expected changes, as we encountered several .
Working on Treblekey has been a great oppourtunity for personal growth as I gained valuable experience with technologies
that I would not encounter in an academic setting. My main areas of learning have been:
- Public & private networks, consensus algorithms, Enode infrastructure
- Solidity & Web3js
- Git, Docker, cloud insfrastructure (AWS, DigitalOcean)
