For most kids, they think of the end of school as a stress reliever and a way to have fun, but for me, it was a nerve-racking last few weeks of school. During the middle of my 7th grade, my Dad received a job offer but not just any job offer, a job in Saudi Arabia, the heart of the Middle East. We decided to take it and last few weeks of school and before we move were super hectic. With finishing up school and packing for the trip, there was no free time at all especially with our Dad already being in Riyadh for 1 month because of his contract.
Hi, my name is Arya and I am a High School Junior at the American International School of Riyadh. I was born in Nashua, New Hampshire and then moved to India for a few years and finally left to Denver, Colorado where I spent 11 years growing up there. 3 years ago, we got a job offer in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where I will be graduating from. Being in Saudi, you get to experience many cultures, traditions and traveling. This is the main reason that I started my blog. Since moving to Saudi Arabia I have visited 19 countries which makes me a “Global Citizen”. I think traveling has exposed me to a lot of different cultures and experiences which is what I will be talking about. Hope you enjoy!
